To meet my little girl that is. It seems like I've been pregnant forever. However I am happy to say that the day has finally come! Yes that's right I am blogging from my hospital bed and I'm having contractions as I type this. I was induced and I had a little time on my hands. I know you all may think I'm crazy but the pain is not bad yet. Also I miss my fellow bloggers and who knows when I will have time to blog again. Anyhow as of now everything is fine and I hope that everything will turn out okay. I just wanted to post a quick note to let all who read my blog know what was going on.
Hair Updates
There hasn't been any significant changes. I did decided to combine some locks by twisting two together and then latching them together at the root. However to try to keep them from coming loose I used some lock gel and it did help keep them together. I also did an experiment to see how my locks would hold up. I decided to wash majority of my hair while it was loose. I kept the entire back and middle loose and just braided and banded the front(that is the only place where I have a lot of loose ends). Everything turned out fine there wasn't any slippage and my hair and scalp felt wonderful afterwards.
I did another diy retightening session and it turned out great. I didn't time myself this time but I know it went by a lot quicker than the first. I was happy with the results and I have started 5 more baby locks in the front which means that my hairline is finally growing due to past damage and getting stronger.
Vegetarian Update
I'm still a vegetarian. Everything in that area is going well. I haven't tried a lot of new dishes yet due to laziness but I will some time in the near future. The only thing is that I get a lot of questions mostly by family members. They are always asking me "why" like being a vegetarian is such a bad thing and I'm wondering to myself why not. Anyhow I guess that's all I have for now. Sorry I don't have any pictures. I hope to talk to you all soon. I hope everyone and their locks(lol) are doing fine. Until next time much love!
Hello my name is Valencia but you can call me V. After years of damaging my hair, I knew there had to be a better way. So I decided to take the path to go natual and lock up. I was Sisterlcoked from June 2006 until Sept 2010 (4yrs). In which during that time I truly enjoyed my hair freedom. Unfortunately my journey had to come to end due to post partum hair loss. I have recently started a new journey this past September, and looking forward to all the ups and downs. As a new Sisterlocks™ Consultant I want to give women and men that same freedom.

YAY!! Your beautiful baby girl is coming!!!!
Good job on DIYing for the second time and getting it done quicker.
As for the inquisitive minds regarding your veggie choice.... My friends used to ask me how long my veggie phase would last. They came around after a while and realized it wasn't a phase. Don't forget to look for recipes on the sites I've mentioned in earlier comments when you want to try something new.
Blogging while in the middle of labor?? That really takes multi-tasking to a whole new level.
Congrats and I hope you and lil mama are doing well.
You are something else - blogging while having contractions, lol. Have a safe delivery, and I can hardly wait to see new pics of your little one. Do you have a name for her yet?
Glad to know you're doing well at your DIY sessions. Keep it up. I can hardly wait to stop B&B. Lucky you :)
Re your decision to be a vegetarian - do what's best for you. When folks ask you questions, use those times as opportunities to educate them.
Congratulations!! All the best to you and your new baby daughter. XOXO
Blogging from your bed? You're a rock star! Good wishes!
Can't wait to see her! Just think, this will be the last post of your old life. Ummm, they did tell you that life will never be the same again after you have a sweet little babe, right? And one thing's for sure, you'll have 10x more to blog about. ;-) I look forward to hearing all of your great updates.

Congratulations! Wishing you all the best. As far as vegatarianism goes at the very least you will have a child who appreciates veggies. Keep doing what best for your body and just be paitent with the rest.
Congrats! I am happy that you are sticking with the veggie thing and the DIY hair. Now you are taking blogging to a whole new level by having a baby while you blog. Please post pics of lil' precious.

Greetings! Thanks for stopping by my blog: I am not a vegetarian/vegan, but I am striving to become a "Flexitarian"
{Search Wikipedia.org for info}
I try to "limit" the amount of meat that I eat. Sometimes going for days or weeks without it. :)
I suppot those who are or want to become veg/vegans though.
