Okay I know I said I wasn' t coming back until my hair was retightened, well guess what it's still not retightened, lol. I know that's just plain sad( I think it's going on 3 and half months now, that must be record breaking. Advice to others don't ever wait that long because problems come with waiting. I am making progress, though! I think I have done about 10% of my head, lol.
Anyhow I only came to blog on how excited I was about what is going on right now in history. I never talked about politics because I know there are some controversy issues and everyone might not agree with what I believe in, but who cares this is my blog, right?
I'm sure I wasn't the only one who procrastinated and didn't take advantage of the early voting but it doesn't matter because I did go out and vote today and I know for a fact that my vote counted today because Barack won the electoral votes in Florida! So waiting in line for 2 hours to vote was worth it and I would have stayed longer and do it all over again if I had to.
I'm so excited right now I can scream but I won't because the kids are sleeping.
I feel so special to be apart of HIStory. I really believe that change is coming. I know it won't happen overnight but it will happen. Just have to sit back and wait until it does. I was amazed at the poles this morning I saw young people old peple of all colors exercising their right to vote.
As I type this people out side in my community are beeping their horns and popping fireworks and possibly gun fire. I know this is something truly to be excited about, however I hope and pray that we don't get to crazy, lol.
Now to my next concern, I'm almost to afraid to mention this but I must be honest with myself. I really hope that the people who are not to thrilled with Obama winning give him a chance to prove himself, and I'll leave it at that. It is still a sensitive issue that I can't even type what I want to say because I don't want to think or say anything negative. But I will say that there are still so many people that are filled with hatred in their heart, but I hope it ceases, sooner than later.
Okay so apparently I'm typing too slow, BARACK OBAMA WILL OFFICIALLY BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! Aint that a B#$^&? No, it's the TRUTH!
SO THIS IS A NOTE TO EVERYONE, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE!
okay back to the hair lol, I plan on dying my very soon, just taking me a long time trying to figure out what color and how and plus I need to finish retightening my hair. So when that's all done I promise to be back and post pics.
My adrenaline is rushing so fast right now, I don't think I can go to sleep anytime soon. I'm on a natural high, lol.
AS of now Obama has 334 electoral votes and McCain 143. Obama was winning by a land slide, whoever doesn't like it can shove it, just kidding, not.
Goodnight, maybe I'll retighten some more of my hair while listening to Barack's speech!
