Hello my name is Valencia but you can call me V. After years of damaging my hair, I knew there had to be a better way. So I decided to take the path to go natual and lock up. I was Sisterlcoked from June 2006 until Sept 2010 (4yrs). In which during that time I truly enjoyed my hair freedom. Unfortunately my journey had to come to end due to post partum hair loss. I have recently started a new journey this past September, and looking forward to all the ups and downs. As a new Sisterlocks™ Consultant I want to give women and men that same freedom.

The Big Count!
Recently I decided it was time to see how many locs I had. I have been dreading this moment and kept pushing it off until another time. However I found the strength to go ahead and get it overwith and plus my curisoity led me to it. So the total count at this moment is 383! For some reason I was expecting less because my hair is thin at the edges so until my hair grows back then locs will be started there as well. But I was amazed at the number I counted. Counting didn't take as long as I thought it would. I just grab sections by sections and then plated them as if I where going to wash my hair and 30 mins. later I came up with 383! All I can is wow! Until next time Much Love!

Thank goodness Creyole counted my LOCKS for me the day she birthed my babies. My count is right along with yours, 390. Although I have not had the desire to sit down and count my LOCKS, I can resist touching them. I am in love with the coily, full textured feel of each lock. At first this was only felt by the LOCKS in the very back. This week (3 weeks 5 days) I am feeling this on most all of my LOCKS.
